Some of our products require certain Microsoft software to be installed first.

In order to install some Collective Software products, you may need to first download and install certain Microsoft updates. The installer will tell you if you lack a necessary feature, and direct you to this page for download instructions.

Microsoft .NET Framework

AuthLite version 1 and our ISA/TMG plugins require .NET version 2.

Windows Server 2003-2008, Windows XP and 7

• You can install .NET v2 directly: .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 Download for x86 and x64 systems
• Alternately you can also install .NET v3.5 which includes the v2 runtime.

Windows Server 2012, Windows 8

These Windows versions come with v4 or v4.5 of .NET.  AuthLite version 2 supports installation with this version of the .NET Framework.
